Tom
Trovas has
been a part of the East Coast music scene for
more than 33 years. During the Woodstock era
of the 60's and 70's, Trovas played with some
of the most extraordinary talents of that time period,
namely with Bugsy Maugh of The Paul Butterfield Blues
Band, and shared the stage with such giants as Janis Joplin
and Frank Zappa. He was a founding member
of The Force on Philadelphia International
Records, a band heading Billy Paul of Me and Mrs. Jones
fame.
While countless bands in Atlantic City knew Tom as their
lead guitarist, his proudest experience to date came from
his work with legendary saxophonist Hank Mobley.
Trovas is not only a gifted guitarist,
but a songwriter and studio artist as well. He's already
written several songs with the band including, "Good
Times", "Callin Callin" and others. His incomparable
knowledge can be recognized in every genre of music and
compliments
the brilliant talent for which The Buicks are known.
