Ron Bogden is
a road tested veteran with not one, but FIVE gold records
to his name. A studio musician during the 60's and 70's,
Ron has recorded with so many huge acts there isn't enough
room to mention them all here. Most notably, he received
a Gold record for Betty Wrights, Cleanup Woman and K.C.
and the Sunshine Bands, Get Down Tonight (yes, that's Ron
doin a little dance and makin a little love on the bass).
After touring with Sam and Dave and then the James Montgomery
Band, Ron worked his way back to the Philly area when he
teamed up with local guitar genius, Danny DeGennaro. Soon
thereafter, Ron joined the BUICKS and he's been with them
ever since - some twenty years now.
A true pocket player, Ron is deceivingly smooth on his
instrument. His tonal quality demonstrates his years of
studio experience and his driving rhythms prove him to
be a great live player. |
